I have purchased two different micro sd cards (1 gb and 2 gb) to store music and photographs and both limit my music capacity to slightly less than 700 mb. Is this a default setting that can be changed, or am I just stuck with this limit?

Is that a limit for a single file?

I have not tried anything that large, including feature length movies.

No, that is the total amount of music I can load onto the card. In fact, I tried using loading music through my computer and it said the disk was full. That leads to think the Blackberry folder has something in it that prevents you from loading too much music. I'm just looking for confirmation.

What OS version are you running?
That is the limiting factor to how large of a storage card you can use.

I've got almost 4 gigs on mine just for music. That's on a 4 gig card.

So Blacktop, how did you do it? You plugged it in and it loaded right up?
