I've never had an update not work. However there is information in the forums to recover from a failed upgrade. Usually mine takes about 30-40 minutes.

I ended up unplugging the phone from my computer. After a battery pull, it restarted just fine. I ran the update again and it worked the second time. Thanks for the help.

I still receive a link to any MMS that I receive, rather than the media going straight to my phone. Was that supposed to change?
