Wont turn on ? battery drained?

heres my situation

the phone was plugged in at night as usual, kitten chewed cable but not completely through. turned on this morning and it said battery drained and died. i put it to the wall cherger that was chewed thinking its charger but ive tried it on two other wall chargers and no go....i took the battery out then plugged it in and the red light lit but went out .... does it everytime i repeat process..is the battery none chargable anymore?

Anyway, battery may have fried. Try a new battery.

Once a battery completely dies, it takes a few minutes after plugging the phone into the wall before the battery has enough juice to power on.

You could try using a USB cable from your computer to charge your BB.
That is what I used with my first BB.

I don't think that's his problem. I think it was more that the bb won't take a charge in general now. Not just from his chewed up charger.

Well, I'll be the 1st to hazard a guess that since the OP hasn't posted back to his own thread in 4 days, his problem has been resolved and this thread is now dead.

People usually keep posting when their issues havent been fixed.

thanks guys for the advice. it turns out one of the metal things on the phone is broken...im gonna get a cradle charger hopefully that will be the fix.

Metal thing on the phone? Are you referring to the USB port? If so, you wont be able to sync or update your OS; the cradle charger is only going to charge.

Eventually you may have to get your phone replaced.
