Upgrading my OS-and its not working

I have downloaded and installed the new OS 4.5.0.182_P2.7.0.106 version recommended in the sticky for my blackberry 8100.
When setting up it gives me an error message of "the blackberry desktop software does not have the blackberry device software for the device you have connected to your computer."

I am currently running an os of 4.2.0.64.

Please excuse me if this is posted elsewhere.

1. Never Ever try upgrading your OS on Desktop Manager, use the Apploader in
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader and click on the Loader app, make sure you delete the vendor.xml.
And also i use Desktop manager 4.5 bcause it is really good(in my opinion) all the desktop managers above 4.7 are let's say, hard.
