Default unbrick the pearl, take 1
need help unbricking my 8100
i've followed the unbrick via apploader, and nothing. i get this error after it finishes the first green bar with the appropriate "disconnected, connected" sounds.. "A fatal error has occurred while updating your device's software. Please try again.

Device communications error encountered. [A:0x0000000E]"

any links to any other ways, or possible fixes will be much appreciated. i miss my bb

OK.
1. Try another USB port.
2. Get another USB cable.
This happened to me got so p#ssed (sorry about the language) cried alot i guess.
Then it hit me.
Try another USB cable.

i've tried different ports, and different cables, even different computers. im going to try some of the other ways HootyHoo has suggested

still having no luck, even on another computer, with 3 different cables, different ports.
the phone just sits there and taunts me with those blinking red flashes
any other ideas?

When loading the OS quickly put the battery in whe it says wait for devicee intialization

whenever i get to the device intialization, thats when it gives me error, do i need to do it that split second before that or what?
and is there a recommended program to use other than apploader? BBSAK doesn't register my phone, and Crackmem/BBMCP haven't really helped. i hope im missing some magical program some use that can help
