    Default REVIEW T-Mobile 8100 OS 4.5

    Install Method:
Most Recent Blackberry Desktop With Roxio and Blackberry Media Managers installed
    AT&T's most recent 8100 OS 4.5
    Deleting Vendor.XML in common files.
Shrink OS to remove extra languages , VZ Navigator , VCast
Crackmem to remove Vendor.XML and installed using Wipe Blackberry function.
Device booted, formatted memory card from inside the blackberry, ran setup wizzard and added in all contacts. Synchronized bluetooth headset, and plugged in blackberry to computer to import all media files to the memory stick. I have not had any issues whatsoever, ive made calls, played brickbreaker, played media , set backgrounds and have not rebooted YET but all is running smooth and rather quickly. Ill be charging my phone tonight and rebooting it tomorrow to do another runthrough of all tasks. I do not have any data plan for im using a prepaid tmobile sim card but tomorrow will use my mothers sim to test out tethering and data functions such as web browsing and instant messanging and media streaming. if all goes well and i feel it is stable I will write an in depth guide with pictures on the steps involved in the complete upgrade process. As a note to those with tmobile, TMOBILE does not offer the latest 8100 compatible operating system, as for support... on a personal experience today we went to get our trackball replaced and the tmobile rep did not give us any issues though we did not volunteer the fact that it was the latest operating system. Another note those attempting to simply upgrade to the latest os without wiping will definitely run into performance issues with the media applications and games, and may experience an exceptional degration of overall performance. Loading times will seem longer and the hourglass will show up more often. doing a wipe will fix these issues.
