Default Red light? wierd malfunction?

Alright, so i've searched for a long time for this solution, and all I have concluded that the problem is not the battery for sure ( i have several extra battery's to be sure ).

Basically I can reload the operating system from following the following site:
blackberry-101-lecture-12-how-reload-operating-system-nuked-blackberry

But still I get the same results, every time I put in the battery the red light will go on for about 4 seconds

Help!

the red light going on for 4 seconds is common in reboot.

yeah i've been trying that, i've done that over 3 times, but my bb won't work without a battery in it at all...
even if i go ahead and use the loader with the battery in it doesn't work.
