No Service Problem

Newbie Here. I just experienced a problem that has me puzzled and need some help. My 8100/att/4.2.196-platform 2.3.0.78(which came on my phone from att) has been flawless...UNTIL today. This afternoon, my service has mysteriously went away. I cant make calls and cant receive them either. I have performed the battery pull, checked the sim card for proper fit. Nothing. Turned it off and on a few times...checked to see if the "radio" is turned on. In options, I have noticed that data is enabled but service says none. I have done nothing to it to do this. It did it on its own. The blackberry ghosts are haunting me and I need HELP!
