Network MEP Code error
So I just got my first blackberry pearl 8100 off ebay. was supposed to be unlocked but was not, so ordered the unlock code through cellunlock.net
I followed the directions to a T and keep getting Code Error; please wait...
Anyone else had this problem, or know the solution? -

I'm having this same issue! My code is from my cell company though and they don't have a clue what the problem is. Would love to find out how you fixed this or at least what caused it. Thanks!

I'm attempting to unlock a 8100 for a former dobson customer, they too got their unlock code from at&T and keeping getting this message:
code error; please wait
All the CSR have no idea what is going on, and just want me to try repeatedly. Thing is, they only have 5 tries left...
Anyone know a solution to this? -

I am also having this issue, I paid for a code from unlock-blackberry.com and they sent me 4 codes (which I find a bit strange) after 3 hours. None of these work with phone showing Code Error - please Wait when they are entered, I now have 4 tries left and am wondering if the limit can be reset.
I have sent their Customer Services an email but no response after 8 hours which is making me slightly nervous that its a rip off.
Codes are -
code 1: 11822699
code 2: 6932865647121571
code 3: 07324707
code 4: 3826720076836542
IMEI - 359181018086285
Network - Orange UK
Can anyone help/check this and give any advice ? Would doing a factory reset of phone reset the limit ?
Thanks
Richard -

Unfortunately those codes are calculated codes generated with a software and don't always work. The counter cannot be reset by an end user, it would have to be done by software in our shop or any store that has the right software. The good news is that you still have attempts left and you don't want to waste those on codes that won't work. We can help you unlock your phone by getting the code directly from the RIM database. Check your PM.

SO, I am wanting to trade my blackberry 8900 for a mytouch. Everyone that is willing to trade wants it to e unlocked. Apparently though t-mobile it takes several days to get this done. So, is there a way i can get this done and not have to spend much to do it? I dont have much in the bank right now. Just paid bills.

Hi cellunlocknet,
I tried to send you a PM but it won't let me as I don't have enough posts. I recently purchased a code from ebay that didn't work. The seller has refunded my money, and their email is as below:
"Hi, we will refund you this time.
your phone seems to need a code from Blackberry Worldwide server, not the network server.
If you still need the code, then please let us know we might be able to get you another code working for your phone.
Thank you."
Does this make any sense and is there any chance you can get the correct unlocking code?
My IMEI is 358263015799119 and the code they gave me was 0235949388103606.
It's a Blackberry Curve 8310 that was previously on O2 (contract expired so O2 won't help me either). I had a look at your site and it doesn't look like there was any mention of O2.
I don't want my phone to be a brick.
Cheers,
Edit: I have 8 unlock attempts remaining.Last edited by mattah01; 09-11-2009 at 05:33 AM. Reason: Added unlock attempt info.
