Need to block a number! Help.

Hi all,

I have been reading threads on this, but I have a problem which I desperately need to fix before I go insane!

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to block calls and sms's from a specific number. Someone I know is being very problematic to me, and this person is mentally unstable, so I don't really want to take it any further than just blocking (I don't want to have to get police numbers etc). I have a Blackberry 8110 Pearl.

Loads of apps have been suggested, but I just need to use one ASAP on my phone that I know works.

Not a perfect solution, but a free and immediate one. Use a custom ringtone for the number in question, set the volume to "silent", no vibration, no LED alert and set it to nut use the active profile. It won't block the number, but it will enable you to ignore any calls/messages from that number and then you can delete them at your leisure.
