My BlackBerry won't send pictures...Help Please

Okay Heres the 411:
I go to send a picture and i will press send and then in my outbox it will have a clock next to it.
there isnt any other messages waiting to be sent either.
Can anyone help me??

How big an attachment are you trying to send? If it's a picture you took on your device, it's small enough, but if it's something you've uploaded, it could be too big.

Yeah, what he ^ said! The picture (uploaded, of course) is too big to be sent over the airwaves. There is an app you can use to shrink them down called, you guessed it, ShrinkIt. Here's a direct OTA download link: http://berrycoder.com/shrinkit.jad

I'm having the same problem. It doesn't matter what size the picture is, the message just sits at the message screen with a red clock image, and refuse to send. I can't receive and pictures either, they never reach my phone.

Do you have a BlackBerry Data plan?

I do not, but I do have unlimited SMS and MMS, and I used to be able to send and receive pictures just fine. I'm not sure what happened.

All the carriers changed their plans, you might want to call them.

I am kind of having the same problem. But mine will put a red X next to the message. I downloaded the app to shrink the size to whatever, but it still won't send. HELP please. And I do have an unlimited blackberry plan, so thats no issue

Help! Everytime I send a pic from my tourch ( that was taken by tourch) they dont recieve it. (it says its been sent on my end) What do I do?

I've tried pics that are small, medium and large. None go through.

Seems to be a some what common issue with this phone but finding no fixes.

The carrier has done an audit and noted your blackberry device did not have a data plan. They shut off the feature that controls mms and email, possible a full data block on the line. When you call, they will try to force you to buy a data plan under the "new rules." Do not waste your time and call them if you don't want to pay for data and can live without picture messaging.

i have a similar issue... i have just tried for the first time to send pictures by an email on my bold 9900 but even try i send it shows a red cross next to it... i have tried few times and still the same.. was just wondering whats going on? it says"general failure" but :S? My text is unlimited but MMS is not free... but i dont think it should effect emailing since im using internet or wifi?... any help?
