im waiting on a delivery of 2 pearls, 1 as a spare for me 1 for the wife as shes damaged her phone and its 3 months till upgrade time

anyways, if i install the latset os does it have threaded txts and also does it support bbm 5, sorry if theses are stupid questions but never owned or used a pearl before, cheers

There are apps for threaded text, but the OS won't have one native. The new BBM is probably included, and should work fine. There's limited memory, so follow my guide and thin that OS out before install.

to add more to what bbw stated above, the pearls, as well as the curve 83xx series, will not receive the os 5 update. there is not enough memory on either device to support os 5.
