keyboard not working

So, my 10 month old got a hold of my phone. Slobbered all over it. After wiping it all off, I realized the keyboard was no longer working. The phone turns on and receives calls, but no buttons work, not even the side buttons.
I have not taken it apart yet.

Any ideas?

The slobber has infiltrated into the keyboard. You may end up having to find a replacement if you cannot get the moisture out. Keyboards for Pearl are getting hard to find these dsys.

Could the board behind the keyboard be wet and fried, even thought the rest of the phone operates?

Russellito- it very well could be that a portion of the board is fried. Best bet is to find a BB that needs a new housing but functions. Full Housings are around 20 bucks on Ebay.
