Help! Where's my browser icon?......

MY DOG HAD ATE MY BB. MY STEP SON HAD AN OLD ONE THAT WAS WITH CINGULAR. I UNLOCKED THE BB AND PUT MY T-MOBILE SIM CARD IN.
1. IT SAYS AT THE TOP OF MY SCREEN "DATA CONNECTION REFUSED" ??? WHAT IS THIS ?
2. I TRIED TO GET FREE INTERNET BUT THERE IS NO BROWSER ICON. I FOUND THE BROWSER (but still no icon) BUT WHEN I PUT IN THE ADDY IT SAYS "YOUR DEVICE DOES NOT CURRENTLY HAVE ANY BROWSER CONFIGURATION SERVICE BOOK ENTRIES" & "PLEASE CONTACT YOUR SERVICE PROVIDER TO ENABLE THE BROWSER ON YOUR DEVICE"
I AM CONFUSED, LOL
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME OUT WITH THIS ?

I recently got an 8100 and unlocked it for a similar circumstance such as you. You need to activate the blackberry internet separate from your data tarriff. I am not sure the cost on tmobile, but I am on orange and it is an extra fiver a month for emails,internet etc. All you need to do is phone customer services at tmobile and ask them to set up blackberry internet for you. They will ask you a few questions so have your IMEI, and phone number to hand. They will sort that out if all goes to plan, and you should be good to go within 48 hours happy browsing

just go to t mobiles web site and log into your BIS account and send the service books to the device it has instructions there to follow all you would have to do is enter device pin and imei after you log in.
