Help with problems!

Hello everyone
I have a pearl 8100 from a friend who ask me to load the 4.5 OS so he can use bbm 5.0 etc.
I connected the bb to the pc, did a backup, backup successfully.
Now, I disconnect the internet from the pc and start loading OS to the 8100.
Here's the problem, while it was at the middle of the process of loading OS, it showed a message "please reconnect your device", retry or cancel.
I tried many times to reconnect but it didnt connect so I click cancel.

Now the bb doesn't have an OS and when I put the battery on, it flashes 2 times fast.
Another thing is that when I connect it to the charger or the pc, it stops flashing and pc wont recognize it.

Any ideas of whats happening?

I fixed after trying a hundred times.
Looks like the usb port is dying

Buy a charging pod for it.

The problem was the USB cable you were using..
many have tried avoiding the option that their USB cable is faulty..
Only in the end that they realise that it was the cable..
