Formatting or another problem

Hi All

i have watched the demo videos on inserting an sd card , i have been through the settings and turned everything on including mass storage from prompt to yes !
firstly it is not recognising my card when the phone is turned on and yes the sd card is inserted correctly !

when i search through media it has none of my music photos etc stored !
however when i connect the phone to the pc and go into my computer all of the files on my sd card are sitting there ! under removable disk !

how frustrating is this ????????

can someone help please i am going insane here ! many thanks guys ! may i just add i have an 8100 not as is described under my user name

Try "formatting" it then have another go.
