 Enable Smileys
I have a Blackberry Pearl and from what I can remember...when I got it, smileys showed up in SMS (for example, : ) to make  ). However, now it just shows up as the actual text symbols. I saw some suggestions to press the SYM button to access the smileys...but when I press it any number of times, only text symbols show up (ie $, %, &, etc) but not smiley faces/emoticons. I did some research online and the common problem people had was they wanted to DISABLE smileys on their blackberries, but my problem is quite the opposite, I'd like to enable smileys.
Can anyone help me?
