Default Could my Blackberry Pearl 8120 have a virus?

Earlier today, while on the internet, i had clicked on a link a started downloading an incorrect file. I do not know if it downloaded completely. I tried cancelling it, but the download was saying file is in use. This all was during the afternoon. Come 5pm, my phone turns off as im typing and does not want to turn back on. It turns off, then tries to turn back on, but the red light only comes on for a few seconds and then it stops. I cannot get this phone to turn on at all!! Can anyone help me please! thank you!

Could be the battery itself. The last time I had that happen (battery pulls didn't work for me) I bought a new battery and all was well.

as for the virus, thats highly highly unlikely. For piece of mind you could download Lookout and run the virus scan on it.

sounds like you're going to have to reload the OS.
