Last night @ work I carried my pearl in my pocket.. unlocked... (big mistake). Now my contacts/address book are all crazy. I did an address book rebuild (ALT R,B,L,D) but I'm still getting weird stuff.
** I don't know how to do a screenshot ** but will explain it the best I can in hopes someone can help me and quickly..
When I open the address book it goes to contact Mark TEST (fictional name)
Above Mark's name is PERSONAL. I can use the MENU key to swap to BUSINESS but am still unable to search out my contacts.. I have no scrolling list as I did before.
I tried a battery pull and reset to no avail. It looks like possible the entrie address book less Mark is gone?
Anyone have any ideas on what may be the issue or what I can do to correct? I do not have a current backup - my stupidity.. I will do this as soon as I get this issue resolved...
PS- The contacts are still in the device. I can go thru sent/rec'd texts and view them as well as sent/rec'd calls. I can select the name, menu and VIEW CONTACT and the info is there. I just can't type a name in FIND in the ADDRESS BOOK and come up with a contact.
Please help me out.. I had planned ot swap out to the 9700 today but won't do that until I get this issue resolved...

WOW. Just figured it out.
I hit ADDRESS book.
Automatically came up to Mark's name.
Hit MENU.
FILTER
MENU
CHANGE OPTION
and my scrolling list of contacts is now back!
Apologies for the post above but maybe this will help someone else out if they find themselves in a similar situation...
