Default Can anyone please help me ):

My blackberry pearl 8100 is having problems as of yesterday :/ it has started to CONSTANTLY stay on the white screen with the loading/rotating sand thing (not sure what the name for that is) Anyways, SOMETIMES I manage to get it to boot up and when I get to my Unlock/Emergency Call/Cancel screen, it doesn't scroll? and when I type in my password and press the trackball it just types "qe" "we" constantly, it doesn't CLICK. I have to use the enter button on the keypad. Just now I tried to turn it on, after a LONG time it loads up. It's acting up so bad now what do I do??? Don't tell me my blackberry is broken? ): I just got it about 3 months back /: Can someone with experience with this please post? I downloaded my latest OS and Desktop Manager file, but they won't even detect the blackberry??? I've used guides and when I get to the part where I have to go to AppLoader and run Loader.exe, I get this error:

"A connection to the device could not be established. Please ensure that the device is properly connected to the cradle or USB cable, and that the cradle or USB cable is connected securely to your computer. Also ensure that the device has completed any startup operations. Then run the Application Loader Wizard again."

Someone please help me ):

Well, either you did not use the guides correctly or your berry is broke. Your choice. Experience is not gonna change anything at this point.

So there's no way to fix this? If it's broken I want to learn how to fix it? :S I'm doing EXACTLY what the guide says I've done it before, only this time it says

"A connection to the device could not be established. I'm really frustrated by this, why did this happen? and how can I get it to work again? ): I was at school yesterday and the battery life died, I got home charged it for hours and woke up to this problem? someone please reply if you have any idea what's wrong?

My first instinct is you have some moisture damage, and since you just purchased it 3 months ago, I'm hoping the indicators are still white, and it's covered under warranty or insurance. The last post you made indicates a possible battery issue. Did it charge when you plugged it in, and does the PC recognize you connected it to the USB at all?

Yes, it does charge when I plug it into the charger. And my PC DOES recognize it. This happened overnight it was working just fine the day before /: Also, I took apart the trackball and cleaned it well, still same problem only now at random times I hear my speaker clicking, which indicates my trackball is moving but I'm not touching it. It just furiously scrolls down whenever I DO get my phone to work :X

I'd take a Q-Tip with isopropyl alcohol on it, just a damp one, not dripping. Take out the trackball, and put it in the cap from the bottle and fill it up. Clean the entire interior where it is housed with the Q-Tip, then work the trackball in the cap for a few in each direction. Shake it out and let it sit 5 minutes to dry. If that doesn't solve the problem, you could try replacing the dome. Cellular Nationwide Network - 3G, Sony, Panasonic, LG, SonyEricsson, Nokia, Tools, BlackBerry, carries them for cheap. Real PITA to replace though.
