BlingBall Installation Problem

I have a T-mobile branded 8100 running v4.5.0.182 (Platform 2.7.0.106)

I have downloaded and unzipped the 9b2 BlingBall file.

I start Desktop Manager (4.6) and I select the install apps selection. I see the .alx file when I browse to it and all goes well when I try to install BlingBall, or so it seems. At the end of the routine, I get a message from Desktop Manager stating that it could not install BlingBall because it could not verify the signature of the blingball.cod file.

I have also found the auto-install version of BlingBall and it will not load from there.

Finally, I have re-tried to manually install BlingBall using the .alx and .cod files that come with the auto-install version.

All to no avail.

What am I doing wrong?

I am new to BB (had it for about a week. Nice gift from a buddy in IT.) so I am still learning about it.

Love my 8100 so far!

Now, to learn how to deal with the options in BlingBall...
