BlackBerry 8100 having craploads of problems today
So I pull my BlackBerry out and randomly get a white screen saying "App error 523" with a reset button. The first time, I hit reset and it worked again perfectly.
Then I got it for a second time, and at that point it was in a loop - I'd hit reset, it'd boot up, then just do the same thing again.
I tried numerous battery pulls without result, so I pulled my SIM and MicroSD out and booted it up again which seemed to fix it, so I put the SIM back in and turned it on sans MicroSD and, again, all fine.
I just formatted my MicroSD card, stuck it back in the BB, and all is well... For now.
Apparently, the error I got means I should reload the whole OS, is that right? I really wouldn't be surprised if it became problematic again tomorrow.
I've also noticed that since I put the MicroSD card back in, the whole thing's slowed down a lot. When I took the Micro SD card out (but put the SIM back in) to fix the problem in the first place, it started running really fast, but now it's like a snail superglued to the floor trying to pull bricks along.
Not only that, but the ball keeps getting stuck, I have to push it and roll it around fast to fix it. How do I sort that problem out?
I got this as a second phone because I thought it'd be reliable, but I'm seriously about ready to throw it at a wall and get a cheap Android phone for the purpose instead.
