4.2 works WAY better than 4.5

I was working on os 4.5, and kept running out of memory (around 10mb or less). Then I bricked my phone and had to downgrade to 4.2 (the latest os for tmo) and WOW! what a HUGE difference. I now have 30mb+ of free space and the phone runs smoothly with no lag. what a huge difference. the only trade off is a cra*py media player, but that is a small price to pay for a smooth running phone that does not lag all the time.

My 8100 phones run fine on 4.5... after a few days to settle, post-installation. Of course, I don't disease them up with useless applications. Just Opera, maybe a weather application, and Google Maps, maybe.

I can't stand the pre-4.5 UI, and I don't dig themes.
