Looks like the US carriers are pushing other phones over Blackberry.... they
could be selling the 9100 like the Canada and UK carriers but its not happening.

if the carriers wanted to sell the thing they would be already, its been out for what, 6+ weeks now. americans will buy anything with bling, the iphone sort of proves this point - a device that is next to impossible to type on, with poor call quality on a crap carrier (sorry iphone/att lovers) the reality is the 9100 is the last thing that most americans prob want, a small screen with low processing power and few apps, it goes against everything in the current smart phone market. the truth is that if the curve was 3g I might consider it, but not unless they upgraded the camera, that 2.0 is awful, but the keyboard is much better for me than the 9700, its more like the 8900.

Yes, everything you have written is true... but the next Blackberry besides the
9100 won't be out for a couple of months yet, so US carriers aren't offering anything
to us subscribers until then??

I guess they think other phones will sell better??
