Default Pearl 9100 Unlocked...
Hi...
So I am a 'new' to this BlackBerry community thing, and I have had my BlackBerry for a couple of months now. Help!
I have a Pearl 9100 that is originally from the provider Vodafone (I have no idea which Vodafone in the world...) and I bought it unlocked, and I am now using ATT... but have not been getting 3G service at all... (Very slow....) is there something wrong with my phone? Are the frequencies even compatible?

Is your connection set to 3G in mobile network options under manage connections?

yeah...... but if i just put the connection under '3g' only, it does not find service

The AT&T bands are 1,2,5,6.
if your phone's bands are 1,4,8, it will not get 3g on AT&T.

Unlocking it will work with 3G with some carriers and with others with EDGE.

Your device might not be compatible with the new networks frequency. Have you tried it in 2G?
