It will only work on 2G. Simplemobile is a devision of Tmobile.

Unless you are using a blackberry 9100 that has the t-mobile 3g bands like mine does. Do not forget there are 2 different variations of the blackberry 9100/9105 which have different bands that will work with tmobile 3G here in the states

You need a phone with the 1700 band to work with T-Mobile.

If you get one from wind and mobilicity it will work as well.
