Can you tell us anything about why AT&T isn't selling it yet when it had their logos all over the ones shown last April at WES?
Maybe you can at least pass along some useful information to us AT&T customers.
I'm just not in a position to buy one outright from newegg right now.

Wow, it took you quite a while to come up with a reply this time, and only one. I must have really hurt your feelings this time. Quote:

I feel like I am arguing with a moron.
| I'm impressed you made it that far into your reply this time before reaching for an insult. Quote: |
You obviously have no understanding of NDAs. I would never risk telling a goober on crackberry my sources names and positions because they "need proof".
| You seem to have me mistaken. I don't care about the name of your alleged "source" because I am rather certain you don't have one.
In order for us to believe that you have a "source", you would need to give us a reason to believe that TMobile would even share that type of information within their company. What would TMobile have to gain by telling their employees at any level about a phone that they have decided not to carry? It would be a rather poor business decision to commit to not carrying a phone and tell their employees about it; especially if it is a phone that could be compatible with their network and/or the network of a competitor. Maybe you can at least pass along some useful information to us AT&T customers. | Shake is just trolling, he wants attention. He has no sources, nor any information. You can buy your own ouija board and come up with answers just as accurate as his assertions. Quote: |

| I may be a newbie here, but personally this argument is completely fallacious: at some point some T-Mobile employee will know its plans for any particular handset. A company = its employees after all. So basically all you've done is perhaps limited the set of employees that Shake's source could be, which if true would definitely be doing him and his source no favors ....
Anyway, as far as I'm concerned the reputation of a source is determined by its accuracy over time. If Shake really has a good source, then I'd want him/her to protect it completely. If over the next few leaks Shake's source turns out to be accurate, this would be as much validation as I need and can expect.
OTOH, Shake can go stuff himself if he is trolling, so no arguments there ....

| If there was a source - and I stand by my assertion that there is not - it would have to be someone fairly high up the ladder in order to know for sure that the company had decided completely against something. After all, it would be of no value to the company to pass information like that down the chain, as it would end up with the company potentially losing customers to competitors who chose to carry the product that the opted not to.
But even if that source existed, what would they have to gain by trusting someone outside the company with that information? There is no benefit for TMobile to share information like that with anyone. After all they are in business to acquire and maintain customers, not drive customers to their competitors. Quote: |

| For a source to have any meaning they need to provide information that can actually be verified by action. This alleged "leak" is not verifiable. Even if the nonexistent source had a name, it wouldn't matter because you wouldn't be able to verify this action at any point in the future. Even if the 9100 was discontinued by RIM without it ever being carried by TMobile wouldn't be enough to show that the choice was made by TMobile; there is more than one party involved with any phone decision. Quote: |
OTOH, Shake can go stuff himself if he is trolling, so no arguments there ....
| As long as he thinks he is still successfully leading someone on, he'll keep coming back with his "leak". Once this thread finally dies its requisite death and people stop paying attention to him, he'll go back to trolling 4chan or some other site instead.

And the fact still remains that T-Mobile isn't getting and hasn't gotten the Pearl 3G. The next two blackberrys to be released from TMO 9300 and 9780 (which I called) means nothing as well. But I do know the next BlackBerry coming to TMO after the 9780. And it is coming in Q1 2011. Will I share? No. Thanks to lparsons42. This douchebomb has called me a troll or edited what I have said on numerous occasions. So he wears a headset working the drive thru at Wendys and believes that makes him an expert in "Mobile Devices"??? Nice work you steaming pile of monkey crap. We all know your life absolutely sucks, but you have managed to ruin things for others now too. Why don't you go do what you do best and go make me a chicken sandwich.

Holy crap. Are you seriously a lparsons nut-hugger? He writes well? Oh yes, he comes onto crackberry.com, reads my posts, cuts and pastes, and makes nonsensical points like if the 9100 was discontinued my source of the leak(s) still wouldn't be accurate. He forgets that I have stated I have sources at RIM in previous posts as well, but that just makes it more convenient for him to ignore those statements. You enjoy his ability to write well and I will be back in 2 months to check back on the TMO Pearl 3G that you all think is still coming.

| We can all see here that your previous post was 10-23. You posted this one on 12-26. That is not four months by any reasonable measure; it is barely over two. Perhaps you are applying special holiday troll math or something here? How many pages back did you have to dig to pull up this otherwise-dead-and-buried thread? Everyone else had given up on it - and they will again - but you specifically pulled it out just so you could throw petty insults at me.
The only thing surprising at this point is that this thread has not yet been locked. Your writing ability does not support that accusation. Quote: |

But if we were to dare return to the topic of the thread, you earlier promised that you would return with news related to the matter. Instead you came back specifically to sling petty insults at me. Does that mean that indeed you have nothing to add to this conversation?
