Had my Pearl 9100 for a week now......I must say it is a vast improvement over my previous Blackberry(Pearl Flip). So far,I have found NOTHING that I am unhappy with. Completely satisfied.....

Definitely a big improvement over the flip Pearl. Trackpad alone make the experience so much better. Not that the extra memory wouldn't be appreciated, also. Glad you are having a pleasant experience.

I made the jump from the Flip myself and will admit it's a substantial improvement performance wise.

Yeah, I also made the jump from flip. No complaints with this phone.

I originally had a BlackBerry Torch.......I accidentally dropped it...and... well..
SO I switched to a BlackBerry Pearl, and haven't looked back since!

I came from a Storm 1 and I couldn't be happier about it. So much more processor speed and memory. The screen is tiny but incredibly sharp. I'd bet that it has about as much screen ppi as a iPhone 4 retina display. It's just awesome.

I want to upgrade my flip to the 9100, but as I'm on TMobile, I'll have to wait until they get it (or go to Cinci or Toronto and buy one from Cinci Bell/Wind and unlock it).
Interestingly I was in an ATT store in NYC and they didn't even have an 9100 on display for me to play with.

I don't think RIM makes the 8100 at all anymore.
