Date & Time of Text Message

Sometimes I turn on my cell phone and receive text messages while it was turned off. How do I find out exactly when those messages were sent? Thanks

You can't see that.

The time will show what time the messages were received on the device. They can't be received if the device was turned off. So the time will show whenever they were actually received (ie when the device was turned on).

If the time is important to you, don't turn the device off.
