Ladies and Gentlemen

I am looking to purchase my first BB - I have been a loyal Sony Ericsson user since 2000. I am deciding between the Pearl 3G and the Torch.

I am not a particularly big emailer/social networker...

Which do you think I should get, and why....?

I would give the Curve or Bold a try before jumping towards the Torch as the slider isn't the greatest. Pearls in general are too small and I do not like the keypad. The curve and bold have the best keyboards and are the best in overall satisfaction. Great devices

What DawgMan said. Be sure to use the devices in the store or borrowed from a friend. Every one has a different character.

For my money the Torch is the best thing out today, but that is my personal opinion. The 9000 form factor is a wonder and the new 9900 may be a real killer, but it is not yet available.

So many choices these days and everything comes down to user preference. My wife loves her Curve 9300. The college kid loves the Bold 9700. Go figure.
