new owner of a pearl coming from a torch, out of the box i updated to .424 everything went well, now i just need to get all my contact numbers from the torch onto the pearl and my bbm friends oh and email set up on pearl

can someone help me out thanks

Use the Device Switch Wizard in BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

you have to start fresh with apps for the 9100, totally different unit

I used DM to switch everything over to my 9100 from my 8220, it went smooth and quick.

I downloaded most if not all of my apps from bb app world. The email I had linked to app world for the 8220 was the same I used for my 9100. So all "compatible" apps were brought over once signed in.
