Can't receive to send texts when using 3G internet!

Hello,

When connected to a mobile 3G internet coverage my phone will not send or receive texts. Therefore i always have to go into settings and change it so my phone will only use 2G services when i want to send or receive texts.

I am on Orange and have a Blackberry Internet Plan.

Does anyone have a solution to this?

orange 9100 on who, orange? if so, why not just call the carrier and get the support you are paying for? could be a number of things - did it ever work? if so, have you made any changes to the device, os, etc about the time it was working? did you do a battery pull, resend service books, etc?

It's a curve 9300, yes on Orange. I have sent them e-mails but they don't seem to do anything.

It has never worked, i upgraded the software to OS6 when the update came available on the blackberry site. Yes i did a battery pull and resent service books but still it doesn't work.

Is it still under warranty? how long have you had it? If it never worked right, you should return it.
