Blackberry restarts over and over when plugged in to charge.

So my pearl works fine and perfectly but as of today when I plug it in to charge it it instantly turns off and loads to the loading page loads a little bit then turns off and restarts and does the same thing over and over. It takes 4 times as long to charge because it only charges for 10 seconds at a time before restarting. Any tips/help?

My Bold started doing the same thing recently but I finally deduced that it must be due to cell signal interference. I had recently moved a large appliance to share the same electrical outlet I was using to charge the phone. I have had no issues since changing to an outlet in another part of the house. Good luck in finding your solution.
