Default blackberry poor at emails multi part issue

I have previously had a 8520 then iphone then to the pearl 3g.
I have set it all up fine and I have updated to OS6.

Is this a blackberry flaw? Every time I get am email other than in plain text it states multi part alternative.

Now I have searched all of this website and its like most members are living in denial as this is a pritty big flaw.

I have not come across a solution so can someone tell me is this how a pearl works as my 8520 worked better.

My I phone is nearby and I am tempted to ditch this as it is built for email and is not performing I have done the service book thing with my carrier I have also pulled and messed about why won't a blackberry view all email types?

What do you mean by "multi part alternative"?

multipart is text and html, if one sets html in email options then it should be golden
