BB Pearl Application Memory

When I bought my BB Pearl 9100 I installed OS6 (v6.0.0.526, Platform 6.6.0195) but I find now that it has very limited application memory since the OS is taking up 142 MB. And I find that it sometimes that the phone complains about having very little application memory to the point of asking me to uninstall an app but I don't have that many to begin with.

Is anyone experiencing this problem? And is there anything that can be done about it?
I have about 4 upgrades(Blackberry App World/Bible/Whatsapp/Blackberry Messenger) but I've been holding off because of this issue.

It sounds like you be suffering from a "memory leak" issue. Functions of your device such as apps use memory when the apps are in use and are suppose to release them once their closed. Depending on the os used some are more stable then others at releasing memory when their no longer in use.

I experimented with os6 on my 9100 as well but reverted back to os5 due to a nasty memory leak. Under os6 I was plummeting into the 30's, with os5 I'm stable at 100.

i can definitly related to the OP comments, since i installed OS 6 I have experienced a lot of slowness and memory space complaint. but the OS is so much better

another thing is that when taking pictures I cann not see the images in the preview...
