Auto-updates and charges

Need help on probable auto-updates thru device.
My carrier has been charging me for internet accesses which I have not done. They have been about 10KB only so it seems as an auto-update. Happened on roaming too. It started about 2 months ago, when I still had OS 5, now I upgraded to OS 6 and it continues. Some of the apps are the same, others not.

At the time I didn´t have any BIS plan, I started using BIS last week. Even after BIS they´re charging me for extras. I spoke to CS and told them it doesn´t make sense, as long as you don´t surpass your data plafond. So they will credit me the extras after BIS.
I ordered to speek to a senior supervisor and told him that the technical department had told me that without BIS you cant´t have internet accesses on BB; so now even the extras before BIS will be credited.
Anyway, how can I check if my Pearl 3G is trying auto-updates ? Or roaming will be expensive for me.
