Aaarrrghh!!! I know it and can't remember.

I'm not at the office to look at my 9100 or 8130, so can someone remind me:
What is the equivalent to ALT on Pearl keyboard? (There's no actual ALT key, right?)

It was basically the same, IIRC. I think you hold down whatever key is the ALT-type key, and click the keys with R, S, and T on them.

Hi elite1,

thanks for your answer.

The 9100 has the ALT key. We're talking about the 9105 with a standard mobile keyboard that's missing the ALT key. You can enter ALT mode on a 9105 by pressing the volume key up-down-up-down-up after which the ALT symbol appears in the top left corner of the screen. By typing 55545554 for example you can see the event log. But that's the only ALT function I know for the 9105 (it's described in a official blackberry kb entry).

Pressing r - s - t or 3x7, 4x7 and 1x8 is not working...

I guess the 9105 with its unusual keyboard is only half a blackberry after all.

Cheers
Randolph
