Default All these fancy new BBs coming out...

And all I want is a Pearl 3G.

As a student the only way I could get one on my contract is $80 used, but that one only lasted long enough for me to fall in love with the Pearl.

How about you guys/gals. Would you consider giving up your 91xxs?

Yes, if and only if AT&T releases the Monza.

I'm just waiting for T-Mobile to get it, so I can drop my Pearl Flip! Of course now that ATT is going to screw over *ahem* purchase T-Mobile I"m now left with the quandary of getting one now or waiting until the ATT screw over --I mean *purchase* is complete and getting one then.

I don't know about your part of the country, but where I am, the T-Mobile network is atrociously bad. I am a T-Mobile customer because we keep planning to move out of this town anyways, but as it is I'm lucky if I only drop 3 calls in a given week.

Sure, there may be some negative outcomes later, but the T-Mobile network cannot possibly get worse, can it?

But really, I look at it this way. T-Mobile is a bit player in the mobile phone market, and their days were numbered anyways. Their network is awful, customer service mediocre, and current phone selection uninspired. If AT&T didn't buy them right now while they are "healthy", T-Mobile would have eventually ended up going down the tubes and most likely either gone under completely or bought out by AT&T then for pennies on the dollar. This at least allows customers the opportunity to become AT&T customers if they want, or jump ship if they prefer. Sure the remaining three major carriers will likely just end up raising prices more after the dust settles but that was inevitable anyways.
