Hi i have a passport and today it stopped playing the sound from youtube when minimisong och turning of the screen. This is one of the big reasons i have a passport and now it doesnt work anymore. Does anyone here know how to get this back? Ive already tried the private browser trick and it doesnt work for me.

It comes and goes as it pleases, there's no definitive way to get it back.

Changes on Google side. Did you try what I suggested?

Yes ive tried it again and now it works! Sweet i thought i was about to lose a great funktion, i mostly listen to documentaries on youtube when i drive.

I ran into this problem weeks ago, and aside from clearing cookies and the cache, I was advised to turn off the block pop ups option...

Use other browsers, or any number of apps.

I, for one, use OGYouTube.

Make sure you close the browser after clearing the settingsand block pop-up OFF. Wait for a few seconds then reopen youtube. I'm on 10.3.3, so I don't know if it works for you.

youtube changed their code on their servers which affected multiple 3rd party apps and platforms. Nothing Blackberry or you can do. Some have tried the fix above or rely on Desktop mode.

Saw this solution that worked for me on another CB forum string. None of the solutions in this specific forum solved the issue.

1. Go to youtube and select any video

2. Go to the end of the URL and simply type: &app=desktop, then press enter

3. Enjoy your BlackBerry as usual!

I bought my passport almost a month ago and this Youtube issue sucks big time! It just doesn't run in the background when minimised( application permissions> run in background)....I've tried autoloader (updating the OS), I've formatted the phone several times!!! But still there is no fix, my Passport SE doesn't behave the same way, it works perfectly normally... I need help?!
