This Christmas I've received a Passport SE, going from an ordinary Passport.

I swear that every Blackberry fan needs one, even those who have the original. The keyboard is is much better, feels better, better placed on the phone itself, I swear the audio during phone calls sounds better aswell. Everything about it is just pure quality.

If you ever feel the urge to go from the original Passport to the SE, do it!

I've heard that keyboard is much softer and pleasant to type, because on regular blackberry passport keyboard is too hard ...Is that a truth ?

I have the AT&T version also and like it very much. Have had it for about eight months with no problems. I'm torn between getting another Passport now and saving it for when this one dies or just going with an Android BlackBerry next.

After trying the Priv for a while and going back to my SE, I'm hoping the Merc is better.

BB10 will outlast Android! Just you wait! Stage 1: denial

That's the first thing I noticed when I started typing. It's softer and definitely more fun to type.

With regards to the ease of typing with the SE, I find that there's a rather significant difference between using it naked and with a case. The SE is way easier and lighter to type without a case. Especially for extended period of typing.

I had the OG Passport, which I really liked, but the fit & finish of the SE blows the OG away.
    LOVE the SE.

I agree. I returned the Passport SE due to screen lift and picked up the AT&T version to replace it. I am very happy with the AT&T build quality.

.... I'd venture to say the people on Crackberry don't need to be 'sold' on BlackBerry devices...they either have one already or support the brand another way.....your comment might have made sense if this thread was posted in say an Android apple etic forum......

Personally, I much rather prefer the original piano black Passport's keyboard over the SE's keyboard. The original has a bit more resistance to it, I guess my strong thumbs just need more to work against
