I started with the Z10 a couple years ago and have the Passport on AT&T now. The Passport is just one hell of a phone and runs circles around the Z10 in my opinion. Everything is so much faster on the Passport. I buy quite a bit from Amazon and find they are very easy to deal with. The return policy is very good. And the Passport works excellent on AT&T as well.

Pretty much said everything I would have. Haven't missed my Z10 at all, and I really liked the device.

I've had Z10 for 2+ years. Unsure I thought it might be a mistake going to full touch. Today....... I luv this Z10 and really want to see a full touch upgrade.

But, I think this thread is about to cost me $499.

I was trying to wait it out for a full touch device too, but my Z10 had other plans. So I had no real choice as I wasn't able to wait a week+ without a phone. 2 days without my BlackBerry was torture enough! Haha

I went from 9810 to Z10 to Passport. I liked the rectangular screen of the Z10 for app compatibility, but hated the loss of the trackpad for text editing. The Passport brings back some of the trackpad functionality and all the apps I need are supported, so the gains outweighed the losses for me.

I had the Z10 from the moment it came out. then I got the Q10 and my wife has had the Z since then (about) a year. A week ago I got the passport with the intention to swap between it and the Q10 from time to time.... let me tell you, I loved the Z to bits. the Q I got it for size and keyboard for work... you ask me a week after I got the passport in my hands... GO FOR IT!

this phone is a bliss! fast, nice screen, keyboard seems odd in the beginning but once you get used to it and learn a couple of tricks it is the best combo ever. web browsing is great, camera is unbelievable in comparison, the battery is large (go through 1.5 days with heavy use - I basically do most of my work via the phone)...

seriously, I think that you will love it!
for drawbacks is would only point out the non removable battery (although it is huge capacity I personally am one of those who prefer the option to swap, so now I keep my Q10 charged bundle as booster just in case). another issue is that some apps do not display properly but this is mainly games. I think that for all the rest, the passport is just world's apart from the Z10, if the size is not a thing for you. I have average hands and I think the phone is just perfect size.

    back on some pros
call quality, loud speaker is great and if you have ever had to work on an excel on mobile... you will really like the passport's way...

I really am very happy with the phone! it is a beauty (and quality wise it is also great!)

Also went from the Z10 to Passport. Took a little while to get comfortable with the size but the Passport blows the Z10 away

Hi, I was all excited to get the z10. Then the passport was announced. Had to have it. Looking back the z10 is a really solid phone. And the passport is a very different animal. Personally I should have waited for the classic as I like the passport but don't love it. And if I'm being completely honest it's a pain in the *** to keep in my pocket.... which ever phone you go with you will find lots to love. BlackBerry rocks!

I also don't understand why BlackBerry couldn't optimize the giant screen real estate to make video experience better. Can anyone explain? I know it's a work phone and all but seems like an easy fix

Reading through these posts reminds me of a big bonus since going Z10 to the Passport.

Battery life!! I work out of my car,so Z10 was always plugged in. Then sometimes when i get home for a bit.and always at nite.

Now i can go all day and plug in at nite before bedtime. With at least 50% still left.

I also don't carry my BlackBerry Playbook. Don't need it!

I agree that the passport is a vastly better phone. Definitely make the switch, I think that you will be glad that you did. Huge, bright, high resolution screen; phenomenal typing experience; and tons of power under the hood. Definitely the way to go.

Could you please elaborate? If you're referring to the horizontal black bars, I think there's no way around it unless you want to view a vertically distorted iamge.

I bought a Z10 last year when they were on sale at Shop Blackberry for a ridiculously low price. The Passport is a much better phone than the Z10. Screen, battery, and performance all greatly exceed the Z10.

I bought mine unlocked from Amazon, and have had no problems using it on AT&T's network. The keyboard and size/shape of the Passport take some getting used to, but once you've ""worked wide" you won't want to go back to a narrow, rectangular phone.
