I can't find a Play store apk or link that works after the recent software update. Does anyone have a working link they can provide me? I didn't see a similar thread, so perhaps others can benefit too.

Yes for both questions.
CrackBerry user Cobalt has patched those files in order for Google Play Store to mostly work on a BB10 device, as Google officially does not support the Android Runtime in BB10.
You have to use those files.

It is an older solution, that Cobalt has pretty much said he could not go any further with how Google had changed some things.... thus no new files. But yes it does work on 10.3.3.... but there are limitations. For particular apps, I suggest you do a search on CrackBerry to see if they will work, and if they will require additional patching or an older version to be utilized.

Edit - sometimes apps were not able to be installed without play services, WHICH should've already been installed apparently?

Google Play STORE is not equals Google Play SERVICES.
