    I see your Hub shows the trash can while mine does not. So it must be a setting in the Hub.
    I went through the settings, and I couldn't find an option to change it for text messages, there only appears to be a setting available for Hub Instant Actions for e-mail. Could be carrier or OS-specific.

    Well I found out the problem. It's not where I am (Midtown Manhattan), it's the 10.3 upgrade! Good job BB! Just chase us off!
    Apparently after spending while with the ATT people that's the last possbile thing. The bills are paid, the phone is on and restarted, the towers work, it's 60 degrees and sunny (in February go figure), so that leaves aliens and 10.3.
    So I have no solutions.
    I suggest downgrading back to 10.3.2 via autoloader, as was suggested several posts ago. That's most likely what I'll be doing, as there are WAY too many bugs in PassportSQW100-1/10.3.3.2205.

    Lol I did the same thing. My hub only shows the trash can for the email. All good. Ops sound like a Software issue. Just reload the OS and go from there.

    I thought once we go 10.3 you can't go backward and downgrade. Besides won't it push sooner or later?
    And I just did a wipe and reinstall a week ago which is annoying on reinstalling everything.
    So the suggestion is to reinstall AGAIN? That's a bit weird right?
    I also noticed a restart at least once a day now to get the text messages.
    This all started as text messages disappearing, so I reinstalled now there is a delay or no text messages at all; before I wipe and reinstall, again, anyone else have any other suggestions?
    And for the reinstall which os version do we get? And how can you prevent the push install?
    This is getting harder as link barely works, blend fails to connect and now this.

    And this bs is happening now. The test texts aren't working, the official carrier texts aren't working and neither did a restart.
    (update) now an hour later) they are working, but I can't keep going like this.

    As I just posted on the Autoloader section -- does anyone think I should take my untouched spare PP, upgrade it to 2205 and then put the backup on that?

    So after really poking around - the general consensus is that it's all Blend's fault. So when I turned it off and restarted no problem. However since I inadvertently left Blend on all weekend until Sunday at about 7, I was getting texts, so I am not that hopeful on this "solution."

    Which OS version are you on right now? One of the first 10.3.3 versions caused some issues like this but it was resolved quickly with the newer version. Make sure you're on the latest 10.3.3, NOT the latest one that AT&T says is the newest, since they might be different.

    And again. I've had to restart the phone twice to get messages and apparently I missed more.
    All this started happening with what was discussed here as a corrupted OS.
    I autoloadered the 2205, and now I don't get the texts all the time.
    Anyone have a suggestion???

    Also the contacts lose their names and become their numbers and eventually, in about a minute it returns to normal until it stops allowing me to send and receive text messages.
    Does anyone think I should wipe, AGAIN and reinstall?
    Or does anyone think it could be the phone just wearing out?

    It sounds more like a corrupted software issue as opposed to the phone wearing down which would be hardware. Are you running a fresh autoloader when updating or are you doing a blitz?

    Are you doing any kind of recovery afterwards or starting fresh?

    I don;t know what you mean by blitz. I dl'd the autoloader -- installed and reinstalled my apps and a backup.

    Are you opposed to starting fresh? I'd try running an autoloader and not loading your backup. Something has gone corrupt somewhere.

    Something weird happened for me a few days ago: my Passport started rebooting itself over and over again. It eventually ended up booting up successfully, and I haven't had the text message since.

    BTW Mattster, I suggest going back to 10.3.2 if you keep having the issue with 10.3.3. I started having this issue after upgrading to 10.3.3, which from what I'm understanding from others in this thread, is how it went for everyone with this issue here.

    You can always store your contacts and calendar on the cloud. You could even do a backup of things like Remember via an app, without using BB Link.

    However I have the feeling that your issue is with the actual OS. Best way to test this is by only reconnecting to your cloud accounts that contain your contacts, and see if the issue reoccurs.

    I'm using ultimate backup. And my stuff is pretty google-y already. So I don't use link anymore as it won't connect.

    I previously used an autoloader like 2 weeks ago -- still the issue persists.

    I'm not sure what to do besides counting down to Mercury.

    There has to be something happening when restoring the backup. That's the only thing that really makes sense at this point. Super frustrating but before installing your backup try using the phone without and see if those issues are there or not. If the issues aren't there then we can safely say it's the backup.

    Well I figured let's try it again. Long weekend. Fresh reinstall of another 2205 from Thurask. And we'll see. Ultimate backup rocks by the way.
    So the real test is when I go back to work. Time will tell and I'll post what happens.

    Well gang so far it's ok. Down to -1- text message freezing. Just to my wife, but who needs to text her?
    Seriously though, it's probably that backup sorta. I erased our text conversation to see if that would work and then found text conversations from 2012 on the phone. They werent in conversation form but as individual messages. weird, right?
    So I erased those too, and now it's ok so far. . .
    Tomorrow when I go to work will be the real test.
