[CrackBerry Question]

I have had my passport since release without a single issue.....until last week. It started with different apps crashing (BB10 and some Android apps). Then I started having problems with the camera, couldn't save photos to the media card so I did a re-format and then a swap for a new one...still the same issues.

Then over the weekend the top right corer of the device started to get quite hot and the battery life has gone from great to barley making it through the morning.

I have done a factory reset on the phone and ran it at 10.3.1 for a while, thought that might be the problem, no dice, still the same.

Upgraded again to 10.3.2 and it is crashing all over the place and can't even read the media card(s) any longer. Also, the phone very rarely connects to LTE and I live in a major centre with LTE everywhere

I have searched through the forums without much luck in finding any assistance. Thank you in advance.

If you really wiped it twice already and are having those issues, might be time to look into exercising an exchange under warranty if applicable.

Did you try wiping and not restoring any back ups? If you try it without restoring and try running without a restore and still have the same issue then you definitely need to replace hopefully under warranty

Wait, are you saying you were able to downgrade from 10.3.2 to 10.3.1?

Thank you rebroker20009, I am going to try a wipe without restore to see if that works.
Fastmarc: When I did the wipe it restored it to 10.3.1 then prompted me for the update to 10.3.2.

Thanks again for the help, hope it works. Worst case, it is still under warranty so not all that bad I guess.

Quick Update: Did some more research and took it to my local carrier store. Issues with the camera and saving pictures led us to replace the SD card and the heat problem has gone away and battery back to holding a charge.

Doesn't seem to be a BB Passport issue.

Fastmarc: maybe I miss understood the update but I am sure it was 10.3.1 - 10.3.2 but could be wrong.
