I just got a blackberry passport and every time someone calls, as soon as I lift or touch the phone the ringtone goes off.
I tried disabling every option there is under 'advanced interactions' but it all came of no use.

Ps: i've restored the settings from my blackberry Q10.

Now, what to do? Thanks in advance.

I presume because if your phone is getting handled once ringing it knows you know it is ringing so turns the ringer off. As whats the point of it being on if you know it is ringing.

This is something to do with the software. 10.3.1 fixes this but then there are other issues you'll have. I'd wait till an official 10.3.1 is released for passport.

Ensure you're not inadvertently hitting the screen, my Passport continues to ring when picked up. But like most touch screens once the screen is pressed the ringer is silenced.

Funny I'm running the same OS but if I touch my keyboard or even the side of the phone it stops ringing.
