    Why is it that the same app if installed thru snap shows updates available but when checked in Amazon, no updates appear?

    I tied to apply the update using snap but it won't let me stating that the app doesn't appear on my Google play account.

    The question is, why does the same app have updates in google but not amazon store?

    Because Amazon is entirely independent from Google Play Store. Amazon is way smaller and has a more rigid ecosystem, so many developers are less eager to even offer their apps on Amazon. Or they offer it, but invest less effort. Amazon doesn't use the Google Play Services, so I guess most developers have to manage a separate version for Amazon - and that's maybe for 20% of the revenues they generate via Google.
    On the other hand, I often enough prefer Amazon, so I don't have to bother about Google Play Services (not supported on BB).

    You can directly install Google play store.
    It works well but not all apps are supported in BlackBerry...
