I can download Waze from BBWorld on my Z30, but from Passport, Waze doesn't even appear!

Waze supports the Z10, Z30, Z3 and the Leap (rectangular screens), but not the Q10, Q5, Classic or Passport (square screens).

You need to use apk file of Waze. Very exhausting.

Downloaded it from Google play store for BlackBerry Passport and it supports the square screen just fine. Love it and use it all the time.

Your right it does! Weird but awesome and a lesson. If I can get an app from BBW that's the priority then try both Snap and Amazon both.

Yes, it is somewhat ironic that if the BlackBerry World app you want doesn't support your particular BlackBerry device, then the solution is get the Android version. I've been pleased how well most Android apps adapt to my Q5's square screen.
