    Hi everyone
    Any idea what's covering the camera at the back of passport? Is it glass or plastic? Some phone manufactures use something that's harder to scratch. I looked on Web and did a search here finding no answers. Any help would be great. Thank you in advance.

    First off, welcome to CrackBerry!
    Please update your profile to include device, carrier, and location. This makes it easier for others to help you.

    Great question. They made a point of announcing that the P'9983 camera was covered with a piece of sapphire glass, but I've never heard mention of material used with other models.

    Best bet might be to tweet at BBRY and ask, if you're on Twitter.
    Or maybe someone else will know and fill us in!

    Most probably gorilla glass 3. If the screen is made of that stuff I'm pretty sure it's the same with the camera.

    Hmmm I doubt that it's guerilla glass... or else they would had mentioned. Normal glass would risk chipping so I would say it's probably plastic.
