Has anyone here ran across an instance where a Web site affects certain OS functions on their Passport. But that same Web site does absolutely nothing on other phones?

And before the jokes start flying. Let me be clear about what type of site I'm talking about.
It's a life style forum site.

And yes I've stopped using my Passport to read up on the site.

Just wondering if anyone else has run across the same issue with what seemed to be a clean site, but accessed with Passport it seemed not to be true.

Well phone works great. I visit the web site thru the browser everything seems perfect.
But than I go to listen to music thru headphones and the headphones are not recognized. And the music plays thru headset speakers.
Restart phone and all is good for a while until, music's paused by its self.
Turn music back on and guess what? Plays thru headset again.
An OS reload fixes the problem. But if the web site is visited again after the OS reload than the same issues arise again.

I know what causes the problem and how to fix it.

But has anyone else ran across this before?
See my OP for further description.

Does the website have any Video/Audio Advertisements?
    Sounds very very odd.

Sounds like from your description that its some cookies issue that expects an Android/IOS browser.

Yes it has Ads but they are all click to enter. But does cycle different Ads thru the Ads place along right of screen.

The web pages work perfectly. And I've tried the delete cookie before.
For some reason, only this one Web site causes problems with the OS headphone recognition.

Hmm, I've noticed that certain internet videos will reset my volume level from nil to 50% or so. Very annoying.

Have you tried an alternate BB browser on that site?

    Not yet, but I might.
For now I just haven't gone back to the site since the OS reload I did in order to fix the headphone issue.

Has anyone else been able to pin point an OS issue due to a Web site?

In this case the affect is the headphone jack becomes unrecognized at a later date in time randomly.

I could be right after log out, an hour from now, or 10 hours from now.
But next time headphones are used would be the true test.

    That's weird.
    BlackBerry RMA my first passport.
Got this second Passport and go to the same website and it does the same thing again.
But this phone I can do a OS reload to fix it.
Then if I go to the website again, the issue comes back.

Oh well, guess I stay off it with my Passport, or just live with the headphone jack issue.

Do you by chance have a anti virus app or used a different browser than BlackBerry browser?
