The famous 'traffic outsmart-er' isn't available nor supported as of date for the passport. But they've been smart enough to provide a link to an apk that works fine smooth as butter for me (as much as I can tell).

Please note it's unofficial and NOT supported by waze so you wouldn't want to rant if anything goes wrong.

Waze always worked from 10.2.x on. You just had to patch it with Gmaps Patcher. But anyways, nice find.

This one, you don't have to patch anything w/ 10.3.0.675

Nice. I'm curious how it works, as Google Maps API v2 is not supported by BlackBerry. Do you see the map in Waze?

Just looked into it, it uses a different map without Google dependencies. Nice!

I downloaded this app and must say it works wonderfully. One thing I noticed: it warms up my Passport pretty much. Does anybody have this same issue? And maybe how to solve this? Thanks in advance for your replies.

It heats up on most phones. Does the same on my Note 3 and Z10

to what extend is this harmful for the phone itself? for how long may it be that heated up without causing any damage? or shouldn't that be a real concern?

Is this an old version? The version I have is 3.9.5.3 which was downloaded via Snap.

I downloaded via Cobalt's Google play store method and it works fine. Didn't try snap or amazon. I just went straight for the kill.
